Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes Review - 2024 Kia Carnival - Y88DJ- Video
Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack and how it fits here on our 2024 Kia Carnival. This is actually gonna be my first look at this bike rack, so we get to take a look at it together right off the bat. I definitely see this as useful for if you need to carry extra heavy bikes here with your Carnival. This does include a ramp that's attached to the rack, hence the name "OnRamp." So for those heavier bikes, if you don't wanna be lifting them up and onto the rack, this is gonna work out for you. And this does have a maximum weight capacity of 80 pounds, which is awesome because electric brakes seems to be getting heavier and heavier. more

Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Rack Review - 2024 Kia Carnival- Video
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination four-bike rack on the 2024 Kia Carnival. This is gonna be an entry level platform bike rack with the ability to hold up to four bikes, 35 pounds each, so unfortunately it won't be e-bike friendly. Something else to note is three tie down points, one on each tire, and then we have a clamp on the frame that can adjust, so it's gonna be able to fit a lot of different alternative frame bikes. Maybe not all of them but a lot of them. But since we are making frame contact, that means we don't recommend using carbon frame bikes on this rack. Since this is an entry level bike rack there's two drawbacks. more

Kuat Piston Pro 4 Bike Rack Review - 2024 Kia Carnival- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today we're gonna be talking about the Kuat Piston Pro four-bike rack on the 2024 Kia Carnival. This carrier can accommodate four bikes, 40 pounds each. So that's something to keep in mind that it will not be able to accommodate those E-bikes, but it's gonna use a dual wheel mount that's gonna be attaching on your front wheel and your rear wheel. So it's gonna be able to accommodate your carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. Since this is one of our more premium platform style bike racks, it does have a tilt away feature. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Kia Carnival- Video

It's gonna be a really high end platform style bike rack. Holds the bike on top of these trays and with a dual wheel mount design. What that means is you've got these two arms that hold onto each tire. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FullTilt hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Kia Carnival. This is gonna be a bike rack capable of carrying up to five bikes, which for your Carnival could be a very good thing. Most bike racks that mount to your hitch do max out at around four bikes. So this one does have a leg up over the competition just a little bit. And it is going to lend itself really well towards families because if you've got bike adapter bars to make sure that those kids bikes fit over those arms, it's gonna be a really great way to carry all those bikes with you. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Kia Carnival KU24FR- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2 Three Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Kia Carnival. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that can hold up to three bikes and it's going to be one that holds a bike by the tire using a front wheel hook at the front, and a wheel strap down at the bottom at the back. That means that when we're holding the bike, we're not touching the frame at all, making this a good option for carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes. And it does a pretty good job at getting a strong hold on the bike, but with the weight capacity, you're gonna run into a little bit of a limitation. It can only support 40 pounds per bike. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat NV Base platform style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Kia Carnival. This is gonna be a pretty good entry to the higher end bike racks. Certainly one of my personal favorites because it does hold the bike really well. We've got a front wheel hook and a back wheel strap, meaning that there's zero frame contact, making this a good option for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. And with the 60 pound weight capacity per bike it can handle some e-bikes too. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack hanging style bike rack right here on our 2022 Kia Carnival. So, the Yakima RidgeBack is what you would use if you want to carry a lot of bikes and still be able to have those premium hanging rack features that Yakima offers. So, the RidgeBack comes as a four or a five-bike option. I personally would recommend just going ahead and getting the five-bike version just so that's ready when you're ready. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Kia Carnival- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at our Curt Premium hanging style bike rack right here on our 2022 Kia Carnival. So the Curt premium is what I would call the family friendly bike rack. And in fact, from all of the bike racks we have here at etrailer, I would say this is one of the best bike racks for the Kia Carnival because of how many bikes you can put on here. So what I have here is the four bike version but you can get the exact same bike rack as a five bike version. more

What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we will be checking out the etrailer four-bike, bike rack on our 2022 Kia Carnival. Now this is gonna be a hang style bike rack, which means bike hangs on the frame. And these cradles right here. So we have a aluminum road bike on there today. We definitely don't recommend putting a carbon fiber bike on there, that could damage the frame. more
